The sold-out show, feturing Limp Bizkit and Hot Milk took place last-night, to a fully sold-out venue of 5,000 people.
The night started out with Fragile DJ doing a set with an early 2000s nu-metal and rock playlist, which got an ever growing crowd pumped up as they filtered into the arena area. After their set ended, the Manchester band 'Hot Milk', who were no where near as good at warming up the crowd as the 2 DJs. Where I was, I was on the barrier and their sound quality was not any-where near as good as they acted like it was.
Then the house lights dimmed, as the Woodstock 99 legands took the stage, opening up with their iconic song Break Stuff, which had the crowd going fucking mental. We spoke to some fans after the show, and they described Fred's outfit like "...he was paving the M14 at 4pm, and the show was at 5pm". The attachedAbout half-way throught the set, Fred Durst invited a fan up on stage, who was given the nick-name "Jonny Vomit". He gained this name for obvious reasons, because he vomited on stage.
They ended the night again, with Break Stuff, taking the croud by shock. Overall, I'd rate the show a solid 9/10.
If you wish to see them on tour (which I highly reccomend), you can see their upcoming tour dates here.
